The FPL 2023 Research Projects event is suited for participants interested to disseminate their activities in a starting, ongoing, or recently finished research project (e.g., national- or European-funded), which relates to topics within the scope of FPL. This event is an excellent occasion for presenting their research goals, activities, and results to the FPL community, as well as for receiving feedback and for initiating new research opportunities and collaborations.

The FPL Research Projects event will provide a forum for interested participants to have a 10-minute short presentation about their research activities, a poster, and/or a demo about it during the afternoon poster session and the Demo Night session of the conference. It will also provide the opportunity to mingle and interact with each other and with other conference participants during the first day of the conference (Sept. 6, 2023).

The FPL 2023 Industrial event is suited for industry participants active or interested in hardware acceleration. This includes both companies that own applications and are interested in accelerating them, as well as companies that provide acceleration solutions and are interested in applying them to new applications. In both cases, this event is an excellent occasion to present their activities, find new opportunities for collaborations and expand their scope in application  acceleration.

The industrial event will provide a forum for industry participants to present a 5-minute elevator pitch about their applications or acceleration technologies and optionally have a poster and/or a demo on their products. During the afternoon poster session and Demo Night session, which will take place on the first day of the conference (Sept. 6, 2023), the participants of the industrial event will have the opportunity  to mingle and interact with each other and with other conference participants.

Industry representatives that are interested in participating in the event with a presentation are invited to submit a short title and summary (up to 250 words) of what they would like to present by email to both the Industrial Event Co-Chairs and CC to <fpl2023conf@gmail.com> with the subject: FPL2023 Industrial Event submission
