CALL FOR PAPERS
Contributions within (but not limited to) the following topics related to Field-Programmable Logic and Applications are very welcome:
Architectures and Technology
Programming Models and Languages
System Software and Environment Support
Design Methods and Tools
Prospective authors are invited to submit the papers in two submission forms - Regular Track and Journal Track. The details can be found below.
Prospective authors are invited to submit original and unpublished papers in IEEE double column format. Submitted papers are limited to 6 pages plus references (references must not exceed two pages). This is a strict limit, and papers exceeding this limit will be rejected automatically.
Papers accepted as full papers will appear in the proceedings as 6 pages papers plus up to 2 pages of references. Short papers will have 4 pages plus up to 2 pages of references in the proceedings. Authors of accepted full papers and short papers will have the possibility to buy 2 additional pages.
The conference proceedings will be made available online during the conference. The conference proceedings will be published with IEEE Xplore.
The FPL 2023 Journal Track relies on the ACM Transactions on Reconfigurable Technology and Systems (TRETS). The Journal Track is specifically intended for original contributions (i.e, no conference-paper extensions are allowed) that would benefit from the longer articles possible in TRETS (up to 32 ACM-style single-column pages), e.g., for clearer presentation of complex research, or an in-depth discussion of comprehensive results.
If your submission is not rejected during the first TRETS review process, you can submit it for a second round of reviews for inclusion in the Journal Track.
Accepted Journal Track papers will be invited to present their work at the FPL2023 conference and contribute an abstract of their TRETS paper to the FPL proceedings (pending confirmation). If the paper is not accepted in the Journal Track after the second round but still worth publication, it will continue as regular TRETS submission.
The submission guidelines can be found here. Make sure to check out the submission guidelines for detailed information.
